“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
Why VerseWise
The Bible isn’t only a book about the past. It’s God’s word to people facing the same things we face: fear about tomorrow, broken relationships, money worries, loneliness, the search for meaning. The trouble is knowing where to look. VerseWise finds the passages that speak to your question and walks you through them, the way a wise friend who knows Scripture well would.
“Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:16–17
The way of Jesus
Jesus didn’t leave a rule for every situation. He left something better: a way of living, shown in his words and in his life. Nearly every question we bring to VerseWise comes back to a few things he asked of all of us.
Faith isn’t one part of life. It’s the centre the rest is built around.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
Matthew 22:37
Your neighbour is the coworker, the stranger, the family member who’s hard to love.
“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22:39
Patient, humble, willing to serve. That’s how people recognise his followers.
“Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.”
John 13:34
We give others the same mercy God has already given us.
“Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is also merciful.”
Luke 6:36
Seek God first, live today well, and let tomorrow rest in his hands.
“Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Matthew 6:33
Bring light into the places you already are: home, work, your friendships.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.”
Matthew 5:9
How it works
No search terms, no concordance. Just say what’s going on.
“How do I forgive my dad?” “Why do I feel so far from God?” “How do I stop worrying about money?” Type it the way you’d say it to a friend.
VerseWise listens to what you shared, then walks you through two or three New Testament verses, quoted word for word, with what each one means for your situation.
Every answer ends with a few simple things to try this week and a closing word of encouragement or prayer. Save it, come back to it, or share it with a friend.

Honest about what it is
Every verse is quoted word for word from a public-domain Bible on your iPhone; the words of Scripture are never written by AI. The reflections around them are written with the help of Google’s Gemini AI and can contain mistakes, so read them alongside the Bible, and bring the big things to your pastor, priest, church family or a counsellor.
